Charan Charan Rock Festival features Korean rock bands with only female lead singers. This is because I noticed a lack of Korean female lead singers in the rock genre. I wanted to challenge myself to interpret and express Korean colors and forms that also include a feminine strength with the rock spirit.

 

Each band is represented by a different animal motif that are inspired from a Korean folklore.

Charan Charan means brimful; the appearance of a liquid rippling at the edge of its container as if it is to spill over.
